The reasoning behind these mystery questions is to show repeats or extensions of the Law and Prophets (Isa. 8:20) with current events and the book of Revelation (Eccl. 1:9). There are some in IDMR and in sects of Christianity who say using current events is not preaching the gospel (Matthew 24:14; Romans 1:16; 1 Thessalonians 1:5). This shows they know not the Scriptures or the power of the Yahweh (Matt. 22:29).
