Draft Paper on “Spiritual Significance of Blood”
Revelation 19:7-9 “7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. 9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of Elohim (God).”

Old & New Covenants were established with blood. Symbolized a marriage of the Creator with the Creature.
Jer. 31:31-33
31 Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh (the Lord), that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers …33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith Yahweh (the Lord), I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohim (God), and they shall be my people.
Psalms 45:1
1{To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves.} My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
John 8:1-9
“… And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, they say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Yahshua (Jesus) stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Yahshua (Jesus) was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.”
Heb. 8:6-13
6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. 7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
Heb. 10:8-10
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O Elohim (God). 8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O Elohim (God). He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
Galatians 4:21-26 KJV
“Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.”

Genesis 2:18, 21-25 KJV
“18 And Yahweh Elohim (the LORD God) said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. … 21 And Yahweh Elohim (the LORD God) caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; and the rib, which Yahweh Elohim (the LORD God) had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.”

Isaiah 54:5 KJV
“For thy Maker is thine husband; Yahweh (the LORD) of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The Elohim (God) of the whole earth shall he be called.”
David & Bathsheba
2 Samuel 11: 2-27
2 And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon. 3 And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite? 4 And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house. 5 And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child. 6 And David sent to Joab, saying, Send me Uriah the Hittite. And Joab sent Uriah to David. 7 And when Uriah was come unto him, David demanded of him how Joab did, and how the people did, and how the war prospered. 8 And David said to Uriah, Go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. And Uriah departed out of the king's house, and there followed him a mess of meat from the king. 9 But Uriah slept at the door of the king's house with all the servants of his lord, and went not down to his house. 10 And when they had told David, saying, Uriah went not down unto his house, David said unto Uriah, Camest thou not from thy journey? why then didst thou not go down unto thine house? 11 And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing. …
14 And it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it by the hand of Uriah. 15 And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die. ..
17 And the men of the city went out, and fought with Joab: and there fell some of the people of the servants of David; and Uriah the Hittite died also. …
26 And when the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she mourned for her husband. 27 And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased Yahweh (the LORD)
2 Samuel 12:1
1 And Yahweh (the LORD) sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor. 2 The rich man had exceeding many flocks and herds: 3 But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter. 4 And there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man's lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him. 5 And David's anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As Yahweh (the LORD) liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die: 6 And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity. 7 And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith Yahweh Elohim (the LORD God) of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul; 8 And I gave thee thy master's house, and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things. 9 Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the Lord, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon. …
12 For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun. 13 And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against Yahweh (the LORD). And Nathan said unto David, Yahweh (the LORD) also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die. 14 Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of Yahweh (the LORD) to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die. 15 And Nathan departed unto his house. And Yahweh (the LORD) struck the child that Uriah's wife bare unto David, and it was very sick. 16 David therefore besought Elohim (God) for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth. ..
18 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. …
24 And David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare a son, and he called his name Solomon: and Yahweh (the LORD) loved him.

Mark 10: 1-9
“2 And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him. 3 And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you? 4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away. 5 And Yahshua (Jesus) answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. 6 But from the beginning of the creation Elohim (God) made them male and female. 7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; 8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. 9 Therefore what Elohim (God) has joined together, let no one separate.”
Matt. 22:1-14 And Yahshua (Jesus) answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, 2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, 3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. 4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. 5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: 6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. 7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. 9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. 10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. 11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: 12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
Matt. 25 1-13 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
John 4:21-22 KJV
“Yahshua (Jesus) saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.”
Hebrews 9:13-18 KJV
“For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to Elohim (God), purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living Elohim (God)? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.”
Rev 12 woman clothed in the sun
Revelation 12:1 KJV
“And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:”
John saw a marriage in Rev. 19th Chapter.
Rev 21 new Jerusalem, bride, woman adorned for her husband
Revelation 21:1-3 KJV
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from Elohim (God) out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of Elohim (God) is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and Elohim (God) himself shall be with them, and be their Elohim (God).”
Revelation 21:8-10 KJV
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. 10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from Elohim (God),

Draft Paper by Dr. Penny Warren
Why does the Bible say Blood Is Needed for Salvation? (Heb. 9:22)
How Does Blood Bringing Oxygen to and Taking Waste Away from the Physical Body Correlate with Words of Truth Bringing Life to the Soul and Redeeming It from Death?
Do you ever wonder about blood? Probably not. As you go through your daily routine, that internal red liquid doesn't come to mind unless something urgent is occurring to your body or that of a loved one. You may see a few drops of blood as you brush your teeth, scrape a knee during a fall, nick yourself with a sharp knife, or have a nosebleed, but outside of those singular instances, you are not very likely to think about blood. With the exception of the media, which brings blood into our lives through the nightly news and gorely movies, we can go through our entire day without ever thinking specifically about blood. Very seldom do we ponder how important blood is to our body’s performance of ordinary tasks and how our organs need blood to bring oxygen and nutrients to them to function optimally.
On the other hand, when you begin to read the Bible, you find an abundance of scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments referring to blood and why it is important for us to believe the Messiah’s blood saved us from sins.
________________
Here are just a few scriptures.
In the Law, these verses highlight the importance of blood under the Mosaic Law in offering sacrifices and redemption
Leviticus 17:11 KJV
“For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”
Exodus 24:8
“Moses then took the blood, sprinkled it on the people and said, ‘This is the blood of the covenant that Yahweh (the LORD) has made with you in accordance with all these words.'”
Exo. 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
In the Prophets
Ezekiel 33:4
Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.
Isaiah 53:5
“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”
Joel 2:31
The sun will be turned into darkness And the moon into blood.
These Fulfilment verses state blood is necessary for the New Covenant to be established as it was necessary for the Old Covenant under the Mosaid Law.
Matthew 26:27-28
“27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28 for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.”
Luke 22:20
“In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.'”
John 6:53, 55, 63
“Yahshua (Jesus) said to them, ‘Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. … For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. … 63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”
Spiritual Reality
Hebrews 9:13-14, 22 KJV
“For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of the Messiah (Christ), who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to Elohim (God), purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living Elohim (God)? …
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”
Ephesians 1:7
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of Elohim (God)’s grace.”
Revelation 1:5
“And from Yahshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ), who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood.”
Rev. 12:11
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
________________
Why are blood and salvation connected in the Bible? What is the significance of blood that makes it suitable for Salvation? Is the creator trying to tell us something? Does blood denote a sacrifice? The Apostle John talks about blood in Revelation. For example, Rev. 7:14 states the blood of the lamb washed and made white the robes of believers.
The Apostle Paul states in Hebrews that under the Mosaic Law the high priests of Israel offered the blood of animal sacrifices to purify the flesh. Paul explains these animal sacrifices were a type of the Messiah’s blood being offered on the cross (John 19:30) as the ultimate sacrifice to cleanse our souls. These animal sacrifices offered to atone for Israel’s sin pointed to the Messiah who sacrificed Himself for our salvation to resurrect our soul from death to eternal life.
Hebrews 9:13-14, 15-17, 22 KJV
“For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of the Messiah (Christ), who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to Elohim (God), purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Paul goes on to explain that the Messiah’s death established a New Covenant and ended an Old one.
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”
Do Natural or Earthly Things Point to Spiritual Principles?
When we look into the writings of Paul and the Apostle John, they both describe natural things pointing to spiritual principles. Romans 1:19-20 states: “… For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, … “ John 3:12 likewise says: “If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?”
The importance of blood in the physical body directly correlates with its importance to the spiritual body.
Leviticus 17:11 KJV
“For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”
Understanding the natural body points to a spiritual body, our soul, will give us some basis to start our investigation.
Paul writes in 1 Thessalonians 5:23 : “And the very Elohim (God) of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray Elohim (God) your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Yahshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ).”
Paul knew man was threefold and needed to be saved in all three states: the physical, psychological, and spiritual.
_____
In the physical body the blood has various functions to keep the body working optimally.
What does blood do?
Blood going through arteries veins, and capillary in the body is like food, supplies, medicine, being transpored in cars, trucks, planes, etc., to people in the city
Blood flowing through your blood vessels is responsible for many things:
If the physical body is a type of the soul, then the structure and function of the physical body should be reflected in the inner man or soul.
Words bringing truth to our soul is like red blood cells bringing oxygen and nutrients to our body. The inner man, our soul, needs the words of truth to strengthen it and cleanse it from lies (toxins and waste).
Is A War Waging in our Minds and Bodies?
Ephesians 6:11-12 tells us mankind is in a spiritual war: the truth against a lie.
“ … “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Struggling between the truth and a lie is just like the physical body’s white blood cells fighting infections or being at war with germs, viruses and bacteria. “When invaders such as viruses or cancerous cells launch attacks, your white blood cells move quickly to find and destroy them.”
As people try to do the right thing, according to their conscious and upbringing, there are forces tempting them to do that which they know they should not.
The Apostle Paul states the situation plainly in Rom. 7:15-19.
“For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. … for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.”
Break this up with antectodes.
The physical body keeps a homeostasis balance between health and disease and is constantly navigating between the two. The Holy Spirit serves as our navigator as we pray daily to keep our thoughts pure and our actions in line with His purpose in times of weakness (John 14:15-17, 26).
Galatians 5:19-23
“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of Elohim (God). But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
Break this up with antectodes. Is this interesting
How does the Soul Discern the Truth?
It is through words that the believer must discern the truth from a lie, just as your tastebuds sense good food from bad and the immune system of the blood can discern what is of the body and what is not.
Job 34:34
“For the ear trieth words, As the mouth tasteth meat.”
The Messiah told His disciples not to eat the bread, or in reality not to believe the words, of the Sadducees & Pharisees.
Tell the audience what the scripture means.
Matthew 16:5-12 “5And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread. 6 Then Yahshua (Jesus) said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. 7And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread. 8 Which when Yahshua (Jesus) perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? … 11How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? 12Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.”
Proverbs 18:21 KJV
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
Our ears must sense the truth by faith in the Holy Sprit.
Hebrews 11:6
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to Elohim (God) must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
Eph. 2:8-9 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of Elohim (God): 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Paul spoke of an inner struggle after the outpouring of the Holy Spirit when the new covenant had been established and Israel no longer followed the Mosaic Law.
Knowing the truth helps, you fight the lie (infections).
Revelation 12:11 KJV
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
One of the main causes of death for humans is heart attacks or some cardiac condition. This is related to a spiritual condition of the soul not receiving or accepting the truth.
In the physical body, our blood flow diminishes as we age. The arteries, veins, and capillaries that flow through our body slows down which accelerates the aging process.
What does this mean for the soul?
How can the blood flow in the natural body be improved? Endocalyx and J+

- It carries oxygen and nutrients throughout your body.
- It forms blood clots to manage bleeding.
- It protects your body from infections.
- It carries waste products.
- It regulates your body temperature.

One of the main causes of death for humans is heart attacks or some cardiac condition. This is related to a spiritual condition of the soul not receiving or accepting the truth.
