Rev. 8:1-13 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. 2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. 3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. 5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. 6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. 
7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. 8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. 10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. 12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. 13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

Introduction
Before l discuss the 6th trumpet sounding in Rev. 9:13-21, I will return to the first verse of Rev. 8th chapter to give the 8th chapter some context. I will then explain the first four trumpets.


The sounding of the each of the seven trumpets follows with a specific action.


As stated in the 5th Trumpet discussion (See Fallen Angel with the Key to the Bottomless Pit, P. 1, PLIM Spiritual Class Notes, Thursday, January 28, 2021) to unravel the mysteries of the symbolism of John’s panoramic vision in the book of Revelation, the pattern revealed by Dr. H. C. Kinley in his panoramic vision and Revelation must be used. The experiences of Moses and Aaron in Egypt by the tabernacle pattern will be compared with Revelation.


Is the 7th seal significant?
Rev. 8th chapter begins with the Lamb (Yahshua) opening the seventh seal on the book, and there was silence in heaven for a half hour (Rev. 8:1). The Lamb had already opened the six seals before this in Rev. 6th Chapter.


The book of Revelation is patterned around the number 7: 7 stars, 7 churches,  7 spirits, 7 seals, 7 trumpets, 7 vials, the beast with 7 heads and 10 horns. etc. 


Do questions arise around Rev. 8:1?
Several questions arise at the very beginning of the chapter that many biblical scholars cannot answer. This is due to them not using a divine pattern and separating Revelations from the rest of the Bible.


Questions: Why after the seventh seal is opened by the Lamb is there a silence in heaven for half hour? How do you have a half hour in heaven? How is this timing of time done?


Question: What is this silence?
Definition of silent noun - complete absence of sound. 
Verb - prohibit or prevent from speaking.


Now to answer some of these questions, we begin with Moses’ vision of creation, which took place in the realm of eternity.


According to Dr. H. C. Kinley’s panoramic vision and revelation, Elohim (Word or Son) the first born of creation, spoke the creation into existence in seven days according to Moses vision, atop Mt. Sinai, during periods of 40 days & night in the mount.


To begin this explanation, there was a silence at the end of these seven days by Elohim speaking in creation for He rested, sabbath. 


Since the end is declared from the beginning (Isa. 46:9-10), Elohim was at rest or silence before He spoke in the creation.
So Sabbath = rest = silence 




How is a heavenly 1/2 hour determined?
Now 1/2 hour in heaven is determined by the translation between heavenly time and earth time. 


Peter wrote in one of his epistles that 1 day=1,000 years, 1 Pet. 3:8. 
1 day = 24 earth hours, 
24 hours = 1,000 years
1 hour = 1000 years/24=41.67
1/2 hour = approximately 20 years
So 1/2 hour heavenly time is 20 years earth time.


Is there a 1/2 hour in the Prophets?
Now in the prophets there was an instance where there was silence in Israel for twenty years, when the ark was taken by the Philistines. Israel had no communication with Yahweh because he spoke to the high priest from the art of the covenant between the wings of the cherubs.


“From the day that the ark remained at Kiriath-jearim, the time was long, for it was twenty years; and all the house of Israel lamented after the Lord.” 1 Sam. 7:1-2


How did the Messiah fulfill the 1/2 hour principle?
Now the 20 or half hour principle must fulfilled this with the Messiah in His ministry. He was alive for 3 Pentecosts and in the Spirit on the 4th Pentecost. 3 x 50 = 150 + 50 = 200 or 20 (since zeros have no place). After He died there was no gospel preached, or there was a silence in heaven.


Now the Messiah was put on the cross at the time of the morning sacrifice. He being the true atonement for Israel sin. Mt. 3:23

Here are scriptures of silence within a mind.


Ex. 14:14
The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.


Hab. 2:20 
But the Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him.”

Rev. 8:3-4 “And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.”


Now the principle of the golden altar in the Holy Place is intercession. Incense is offered on the altar at time of prayer 9:00 am & 3:00 pm.


Incense is also offered up at the time of Israel sinning and being plagued by Yahweh.

Rev. 8:5
“And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.”


This censer filled with fire from off the golden altar were cast on the wicked. 


A similar situation occurred when Israel rebelled against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness.


For example, when Israel rose up against Moses and Aaron (Num. 16:42), after a great earthquake that swallowed up Dathan, Korah, Abiram and 250 men of Israel for their rebellion against Moses and Aaron (Num. 16:1-30).


Yahweh poured out a plague on Israel. Moses told Aaron to run and get the fire, censer, the incense off the golden altar and put incense into the censer to stay the plague.


“And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people. And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed. Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.”
Numbers 16:47-49 KJV


The plagues start with the sounding of the seven trumpets.

8th Chapter
Rev. 8:6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.


First Angel Sounded Compared with Moses and Aaron In Egypt
Rev. 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.


Ex. 9:23-25 Moses In Egypt
And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the Lord rained hail upon the land of Egypt. 24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. 25 And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.


"Mark 8:24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.”

Rev. 8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;


Is this burning mountain with fire a comet or meteor? Many Americans had dreams or visions about a meteor or comet to fall into the Atlantic Ocean and cause tidal waves hundreds of feet high. This wave destroyed the east coast of the United States. They didn't see what effect this wave had on Europe and the African coast. More on this visions later.

Rev. 8:9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.


“The Comet by its tremendous pressure, will force much out of the ocean and flood many countries, causing much want and many plagues. All coastal cities will be fearful and many of them will be destroyed by tidal waves, and most living creatures will be killed and even those who escape will die from a horrible disease. For in none of these cities does a person live according to the laws of God.”

Rev. 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;


The great star from heaven here depends on whether this is a metaphor for Lucifer or a physical object from space. The Messiah said he saw Lucifer/Satan fall from heaven like lightning (Lk. 10:18).

Rev. 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.


The first instance of bitter waters in the Bible was when Israel journeyed into the wilderness and came to a place where the water was bitter called Mariah. Ex. 15:23


Bitter water was also a ritual. The ordeal of bitter water was a trial by ordeal administered to the wife whose husband suspected her of adultery but who had no witnesses to make a formal case (Numbers 5:11–31)


Now men dying of bitter water shows that they were guilty of committing not physical fornication, but spiritual fornication with idols. Also the men’s souls represent the woman Bride of Yahshua the Messiah.


Yahweh sent fiery serpents to bite Israel who had rebelled against Moses and Elohim.


Num. 21:5-9
8 And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. 


Shakespeare wrote a play about the Oedipus complex in Hamlet, son wants to have sex with his mother. Psychoanalytic Criticism: Hamlet as a Victim of Oedipus … Remember, Satan wanted to intercourse with his father’s bride, and was kicked out of heaven for his lustful ways.


1 Corinthians 5:1
It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

Ex. 10:22-23 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: 23 They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings

Sixth Trumpet
Rev. 9:13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God. 


Rev. 9:14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.


Now the four angels correlated with Moses, Aaron, Joshua, and the angel in the cloud. These delivered Israel out of Egypt thru the Red Sea. They killed a third of the men in Egypt, which Moses didn’t write about.


What has to be understood is things in Revelation are a repeat of what happened in Egypt. The four (Moses, Aaron, Joshua, and the angel) may have different manifestations in Revelation.


Rev. 9:15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.


In Egypt Moses and Aaron were given a time for the death angel to pass through the Land of Egypt killing firstborn man and beast.


Exo. 12:2-3, 29 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. 3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: …
29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

Rev. 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.


These are the number of angels sent by Yahweh to the disobedient of this world. Many Revelation commentaries say this army is men fighting WWIII or Armageddon. this is a misinterpretation of the Scriptures especially when compared Moses and Aaron in Egypt.

Rev. 9:17 And I saw horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.


Now John is describing this army of angels in his vision in symbolic form.  This army had horses with heads of lions. This is because the Messiah came out of the tribe of Judah, which is depicted as a lion “...the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David loose the seals ...”( Rev 5:5).


He described them as having breast plates of fire and Jacinth. This is because angels are ministering spirits that are flames of fire. “Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire. (Psa 104:4 Heb. 1:7)”


Now the breastplate of jacinth is a precious stone in the high priest breastplate Ex. 28:19 and is one the twelve precious stones in foundation of heavenly Jerusalem (Rev. 20:10-21).


Exodus 28:15-21 "And you shall make a breastpiece of judgment, in skilled work; like the work of the ephod you shall make it; of gold, blue and purple and scarlet stuff, and fine twined linen shall you make it. It shall be square and double, a span its length and a span its breadth. And you shall set in it four rows of stones. A row of sardius, topaz, and carbuncle shall be the first row; and the second row an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond; and the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst; and the fourth row a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper; they shall be set in gold filigree. There shall be twelve stones with their names according to the names of the sons of Israel; they shall be like signets, each engraved with its name, for the twelve tribes.”


Revelation 21:10-21 "And in the Spirit he carried me away to a great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, having the glory of God, its radiance like a most rare jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. It had a great, high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and on the gates the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel were inscribed; on the east three gates, on the north three gates, on the south three gates, and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb." "And he who talked to me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city and its gates and walls. The city lies foursquare, its length the same as its breadth; and he measured the city with his rod, twelve thousand stadia; its length and breadth and height are equal. He also measured its wall, a hundred and forty-four cubits by a man's measure, that is, an angel's. The wall was built of jasper, while the city was pure gold, clear as glass. The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every jewel; the first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, transparent as glass."


According to occult tradition, the Jacinth is a magical stone which allegedly preserves from plague and from lightning, strengthens the heart, and brings wealth, honor, prudence, and wisdom.


Rev. 9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.


Fire, smoke and brimstone reflects the lake of fire, which the souls will be cast into.


Rev. 9:19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.


Power of the mouth is what bought in creation by the spoken Word of Elohim. Likewise, his angels have this same power to limited extent over men with evil spirits therein.


Now their tails being liken into serpents point to the fact that Israel had to look upon a brazen serpent that Moses made to live. See Numb. 21 on p. 11 above.  “And as many as should look upon that serpent should live, even so as many as should look upon the Son of God with faith, having a contrite spirit, might live, even unto that life which is eternal.”


Now their tails likened unto serpents bit the people who were unbelievers; instead of healing them like Moses, they were hurting them.


Rev. 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
John sees all idolatry was punished as the plaques were a war on the Egyptians gods.


Rev. 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
These that violated the 10 commandment laws that was given to Moses and Israel.
