Rev. 9:1-11 1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. 3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. 5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. 6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. 7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. 8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. 9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. 10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. 11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.


Gen.  11:1-9 1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. 3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. 4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. 5 And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. 6 And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. 7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.  8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. 9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

Introduction
My purpose is to deliver a succinct, explanation of the 22 chapters of John's vision in the book of Revelation.  This will not be done in chronological order, but will cover most of the chapters, giving both their spiritual meaning and their physical counterparts or manifestations.


We will began this discussion with the origin and nature of the satanic spirit Lucifer which begins in Rev. 12:7. Afterwards, Satan was bound for 1000 years in Revelation 20th chapter at the Messiah‘s resurrection.  One day is equal to 1000 years, 2nd Peter 3:8. 


Satan’s goal of world dominance, the so-called New World Order or One World Government, on the whole earth plane is as it occurred in heaven.  This government will be Communistic in nature with very few civil rights as is laid down in the US constitution.  The question is whether it can be completed and finished.

Will the NWO follow the fate of the Tower of Babel?
With the Tower of Babel, it was left unfinished and confused.  See Gen. 11:1-10 above.  So if we take the Tower of Babel as an example of a man-made system devised by the devil, basically there can’t be any unification or perfection, (total peace, prosperity, harmony etc.,) as the devil believes his New World Order system will achieve, for its not in him (John 8:44).  Satan believes that he can unify the nations scattered throughout the earth by political, economic, and social means. He believes Communism is the best way to do it.  


However, Yahshua is the only true peace and unification. Satan says he can bring about peace when he's not peace (1 Cor. 14:33). He says he can bring about truth when he's not truth. Satan appears as a light, but it's a false light. (Isa. 14:12)

Why are all man-made systems initially admired?
You must remember that the initial impression of anyone without divine guidance from the Holy Spirit is the Satanic system is something to be admired. When John saw the satanic system symbolized as a woman sitting on a beast with 7 head and 10 horns he was in great admiration.  He didn't realize that it was a flawed system. It's took the angel to point out to John the great mystery of the whore (Rev. 17:7).


Now the admiration of man-made systems may be felt for a while, but by the pattern there is turbulence and chaos in any system.


Remember, Yahweh sent Moses and Aaron into Egypt to stir up the pot or to shake Israel out of their servitude which they loved. Israel told Moses it was better to serve Pharaoh and eat, than to die in the wilderness without food (Exo. 16:2-3).


A people with one language and one tongue went about building the tower of babel without divine specifications for their own purpose and glorification.  It ended in Yahweh confusing their speech so the project could not be completed.  Now this goes for any system that is not divinely inspired, for the seeds of destruction are sown therein. 


Why did Yahweh reveal the book of Revelation to John?
The purpose of the book of Revelation was to reveal the events that would happen at the end of this Present Kingdom Age of Grace in a panoramic vision to the Apostle John on the island of Patmos in AD 96. John’s vision will be compared to Moses’ vision as Dr. Kinley laid down in his book, Elohim the Archetype (Original) of the Universe, Vol. 1, p. 69. The book of Revelation is not separate from the Old Testament or the law and prophets (Isa. 8:20).


In Rev. 1:3, it states :“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” 


So John is telling us there is a prophecy in the book of Revelation that we must believe for our salvation in this age.



To Whom was John supposed to send this book? 
John was instructed to send this book to the 7 assemblies in Asia. (Rev 1:4-5, 11), which correlates with the seven spirits (7 branch golden lamp stand) before Elohim.


Revelation 1:11 states: “Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.” 




Chapters 2-3 Revelation 
Basically Yahshua the Messiah is admonishing the 7 assemblies and chastising them for their short falls.


The primary points of this section are in Chapters 2-3. In future discussions this will be discussed further.


Yahshua tells the pros and cons of each assembly.


Rev. 2:1 Knows Ephesus work, labor, patience. Found them that are liars false apostles.  short fall left first love


Rev. 2:8 Symrna  works, tribulations, poverty found those not the true Jews synagogue of Satan


Rev. 2:12 Pergamos knows thou work, where thou dwell, where Satand dwell, against thee for allowing Baalam taught by Balac


Rev. 2:18 Thyatira know thy works charity, service, faith, against thee allow Jezebel to teach and seduce. Repent 


Rev. 3:1 Sardis

Chapter 4
John describes the throne of Elohim/Yahshua with precious stones, 24 elders around the throne, 7 spirits before the throne correlated with the seven branched golden lampstand, sea of glass crystal, 4 beasts around the throne lion, calf, man, eagle.


Chapter 5 
John saw  a book in the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne with seven seals written on the backside.
An angel asked Who is worthy to lose the seals on the book? There was nobody found in heaven or earth worthy to loosen the seals on the book on look upon it. John wept much until one of the elders said weep not. we have found one who is able to loosen the seals on the book and read it. He was a lion from the tribe of Judah.

When Joshua led fighting men across the river Jordan and Into Canaan Land  most holy place by the Tabernacle pattern a type of heaven they went to Jericho march around Jericho for seven days

Chapter 9:1
“And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.”


When the Fifth angel sounded his trumpet, John saw a star (an angel) fall from heaven to earth. 
Lk. 10:18,”And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.”
Isa. 14:12,  “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!”

Rev 9:2
“And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.”


The bottomless pit also represents Egypt and the unfinished heaven and earth that Lucifer was cast out before the beginning of creation Deut. 4:20 “But the Lord hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day.”


The land of Egypt was dark during the plague of locust (Exo. 10:14 below). 


The two mysteries both have a key. Here the Satanic spirit has a key to the bottomless pit. Yahshua has key and Satan also have a key.


When Moses raise his right in Egypt he open the bottomless pit which closed on the Egyptians after the Israelites passed through.


The Messiah told the lawyers/ priests of Israel they had abused the key of knowledge Lk. 11:52 “Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.”


Isaiah 22:22 “And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.”

Rev 9:3
“And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.”


Smoke prefigure locust eaten all green plants in Egypt 
Exo. 10:14-15 “And the locust went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.” 15  For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened (not due to the sun); and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt.”


Spiritually, this means that Satan and his host darkened the hearts and minds of men.


Locust prefigured evil spirits preying on the souls of carnal men, dead in their consciousness, but physically living.


Rev 9:4
“And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.”


Locusts were given the power of a scorpions but told not to hurt grass, any green thing, or trees. They could only hurt those men that didn’t have the seal of Elohim.


Rev. 9:5-6
5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. 6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. 


Locust were told to sting the men who have no seal. Don’t kill them, but torment them five months. 5 months = 150 days 30 days/month
Note the Messiah was his ministry 3 Pentecost’s June 6 = 3x50=150 days before being buried Joseph . Since they weren’t sealed they were tormented for this period.

Why were the locust shaped like horses? For swiftness
Why were the locust’s faces shaped like men?
Why were the locust’s hair as the hair of women (part of the bride that was deceived), and their teeth as the teeth of lions?
