Topic: Balaam the Prophet, his Ass, and King Balak of Moab
in  Accordance to the Archetype Pattern the Universe
or All the Asses in the World Today

Num. 23:8-10, 11-12 “How shall I curse, whom Elohim (God) hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom Yahweh (the Lord) hath not defied? For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations. 10 Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his!” … 11 And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether. 12 And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that which the Lord hath put in my mouth?"

President Carter is on hospice care, but what is it? Our medical analyst explains

Turkey-Syria earthquake ripped huge chasm in what was once an olive field near Antakya

“Two will be taken, three will be shaken.”

Self-styled “prophet” Mark Taylor has a shiny, new prediction – dead and shaken former presidents.
Taylor said that when he saw all five former presidents gathered at an event to raise money for hurricane relief, he received a word from the Lord that “two will be taken, three will be shaken.”

Former President Jimmy Carter’s soon to be death (he is currently at home in hospice care with cancer) will fulfill Mark Taylor’s 2017 prophecy above and below.

“3 The Spirit of God says, Two will be taken” (Carter & Bush)and three will be shaken” (Bush, Jr., Clinton, & Obama). “For I will remove two from the evil crew of 32, and the other three shall be shaken to the core.

The 32 years they have altogether served and empowered that entity called Baal, and the covenant they had holding up his house with the Illuminati and the New World Order, shall come crumbling down.”

“4 For when the first one is taken, it will be a sign that the New World Order shall die.
When the second one is taken, it will be sign that anyone calling himself Mine, but comes against My Israel, sympathizing with her enemies, will not be tolerated.

The three that will be shaken will be a sign that no one is above the Most High God, not even those that hold the highest office in the land.

These, among many others that have tried to exalt themselves above Me and My law,”

Introduction
What does the donkey or ass represent in the Law and Prophets and using the supreme test of Dr.  Kinley, stated in his book, God the Archetype Pattern of the Universe, Vol 4, p. 2.

Understanding the contexts of an ass goes along in understanding its usage in the scriptures.

For example, the meaning of the word ass depends upon the context.

When an ass is mentioned, it can be referring to the four-legged beast of burden carrying something.

In another metaphorical context, ass can be referring to a psychological state of human consciousness, such as stubbornness, stupidness.

This usually is the hidden meaning of its usage in the scriptures.

In the Torah or the Law of Moses (Isa. 8:20), Yahweh gave Moses  instructions concerning how to redeem the first born of asses in Israel.

Moses wrote, “And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.” Exo. 13:13

A question arises as to why must the first born ass be redeemed by the lamb? What did the first born ass do that needed redemption by a lamb? If the ass wasn’t redeemed, why break his neck?

Now the ass did nothing from a physical standpoint that required redemption. So these first born asses have to represent some spiritual principle that needs to be redeemed.

Given that these firstborn asses, must be redeemed by a lamb showed how they represent something spiritually.

The lamb represents the Messiah. Now John the Baptist saw Yahweh’s Spirit descending from heaven and landed upon Him in the form of a dove after he baptized Yahshua the Messiah.

He said, of Yahshua, the Messiah, Behold the Lamb of Elohim that cometh to take away all sins of the world (Jn.1:29)

The first born ass represents man in his fallen state of consciousness. In this state he is stubborn and disobedient.

This represents the fallen spiritual death state of Adam and Eve, after their transgression (Rom. 8:6).

Now this spiritual death passed upon all men until the coming of the Messiah (Rom. 5:12-21).

Thus, the firstborn asses represent the fallen state of man.

Hence, the first born ass and the lamb explains the purpose of Yahshua’s death being the redeemer of man’s sinful state by His death, burial, and resurrection.

Now the breaking of the asses neck pointed to the unredeemed souls that rejected the Messiah.

Balaam, the Gentile prophet, had troubles with his ass.

There are a few things that must be understood about an ass. As mentioned earlier, an ass can be understood to be beast of burden in a literal sense, but can also mean stubborn thoughts in the mind.

There are many metaphysical principles in this story of King Balak, Balaam, and his ass who are the three main characters.

These three characters perform  actions three times which the story hangs on.

King Balak asked Balaam three times to curse Israel, Balaam smoted his ass three times and three times Balaam blessed Israel instead of cursing lsrael as Balak wanted him to do.

The story begins with a curse Balak of Moab wanted on Israel as they resurrected up out of Egypt.

This is a repeat of Adam and Eve being cursed with death after their transgression and expulsion from the garden of Eden. This was a degenerated by Adam and Eve from heaven while Israel out of Egypt was regeneration from hell.

Now the story begins with a gentile king Balak of Moab wanting Balaam, a prophet, to curse the Israelites, who had just came up out of Egypt. (Num. 22:2-6)

Now Moab feared Israel’s cattle would eat all the grass of the land. Same tension existed in the west between sheep herders and cattlemen

King Balak met with the elders of Moab and sent messengers to Balaam with divination to bring him back to Balak to curse Israel. (Num. 22:5-6)

When they came to Balaam, they told him what King Moab wanted him to do.

Balaam asked them to stay overnight so he could ask of Elohim.

Now Elohim appeared and asked of Balaam, who are these men? Balaam told Elohim these were sent by king Balak to curse Israel (Num. 22:9-11).

Elohim told Balaam he couldn’t curse Israel for they had already been blessed by Elohim thru Abraham. (Num. 22:12)

Balaam told the messengers of Balak that Elohim had refused him.

So they returned to tell Balak what Balaam had said.

Balak refused to accept the elders report that Balaam the prophet didn’t get permission from Elohim to curse Israel.

So Balak sent princes of a higher rank than before to Balaam. (Num.  22:15)

Balaam told Balak’s princes if your King offered his house filled with gold and silver, but Elohim refused Balaam, he could not curse Israel. Now Balaam said I cannot go beyond the word of Yahweh my Elohim (the Lord my God), to do less or more.“ (Num. 22:18

Balaam told them to wait till morning. I will go and talk with Elohim.

Now Elohim replied: “If the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do.” (Num. 22:20).

After King Balak’s third request to Balaam to curse Israel, Balaam went with Balak’s princes, as Yahweh told him. Yahweh admonished Balaam to tell the king no more than what He told him to say.

Now Balaam smoted the ass three times
Now Yahweh was very displeased with Balaam for the thoughts he had in his mind of what he was going to tell Balak.

2 Pet. 2:15-16.15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.”

An angel of Yahweh appeared, with a sword drawn, as an angel with a flaming sword kept Adam and Eve from Eden, on the road to his ass and spoke thru him to rebuke Balaam. (Num. 22:22)

The ass went into the field to avoid the angel and Balaam smote the ass. There was a wall on the side of the road where the ass smashed Balaam leg into it avoiding the angel. This resulted in Balaam smoting the ass, which is the second time. (Num. 22:25)

The third time the ass tried to avoid the angel, in a road that is narrowing, the ass fell down with Balaam on him. (Num. 22:27)

The ass began to speak to Balaam after Balaam smoted him with a staff. The ass asked Balaam why he smoted him three times. (Num.22:28)

Balaam didn’t understand the ass was trying to avoid the angel in the middle of the road with sword.

Yahweh opened Balaam eyes that he may see the vision of angel with a sword and bowed to the ground face first . (Num. 22:31)

The angel said to Balaam: “And the ass saw me, and turned from me these three times: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain thee, and saved her alive.” (Num. 22:33)

Now Balaam said to the angel, “… I have sinned; for I knew not that thou stoodest in the way against me: … (Num. 22:34)

The angel said to Balaam: “Go with the men: but only the word that I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt speak. So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.” (Num. 22:35)

Balak builds seven altars three times for Balaam to curse Israel

Now Balaam came to Balak who said “… did I not earnestly send unto thee to call thee? wherefore camest thou not unto me? am I not able indeed to promote thee to honour?” (Num. 22:37)

“And Balaam said unto Balak, Lo, I am come unto thee: have I now any power at all to say any thing? the word that Elohim (God) putteth in my mouth, that shall I speak.”  (Num. 23:38)

Balaam told Balak to build seven altars with a sacrifice of bullock and ram, burnt offering.

Balak setup seven altars to Balaam three times. He first offered sacrifices oxen and sheep the first time and called Balaam and his princes to Baal (Num. 22:41).

Balaam told Balak he had to go into a high place to speak with Yahweh to get an answer.

Yahweh came to Balaam and told him a parable. Num. 23:8 “How shall I curse, whom Elohim (God)  hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the Lord hath not defied? For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations. 10 Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his!”

Balak replied to Balaam you have blessed Israel whom I asked you to curse. (Num. 23:11)

Balak bought Balaam to another place, the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, where he built seven altars and offered bullock and ram, as burnt offering. (Num. 23:14)

Balaam moved off a distance to speak to Yahweh and spoke this parable.

Num. 23:18-25 “And he took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; hearken unto me, thou son of Zippor: 19 Elohim is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? 20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it. 21 He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the Yahweh his Elohim is with him, and the shout of a king is among them. 22 Elohim (God) brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn. 23 Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath Elohim (God)  wrought! 24 Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain. 25 And Balak said unto Balaam, Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all.”

This was the second time Balak asked Yahweh to curse lsrael.

Balaam told Balak “Told not I thee, saying, All that the Lord speaketh, that I must do? (Num. 23:26)

Now Balak told Balaam to choose another place that may please Yahweh to curse Israel.  Balak took Balaam to the top of Peor. (Num.  23:28)

Now Balaam told Balak to build the third set of seven altars and offer bullock and ram.

Balaam the son of Beor hath said another parable to Balak, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:
Num. 24:1-13 “1 And when Balaam saw that it pleased Yahweh (the Lord) to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness. And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of Elohim (God) came upon him. And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:He hath said, which heard the words of Elohim (God), which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open: How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel! As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the Lord hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters. He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted. Elohim (God) brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows. He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee. 10 And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times. 11 Therefore now flee thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the Lord hath kept thee back from honour. 12 And Balaam said unto Balak, Spake I not also to thy messengers which thou sentest unto me, saying, 13 If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the Lord, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what Yahweh (the Lord) saith, that will I speak?”

What Balak failed to understand in Balaam’s message is Israel couldn’t be cursed because the Messiah, the seed of Israel, would come thru Israel.

King Balak was not hearing what Balaam was saying.

Saul Finds Missing Asses Lost for 3 Days

Continuing with the same line of thought, in the prophets, a famous biblical story regarding loss asses concerns Saul who was sent by his father Kish, a mighty power in Israel, to find his asses. In the process Saul returned as King of Israel.

Saul couldn’t find his father asses and had looked all over Israel for them.

His servant recommended he go see Samuel, a man of Elohim, the seer. (1 Sam. 9:6) The servant asked Saul what shall we bring the seer, for we have eaten all the food. The servant said he had a fourth of shekel of silver.

They both went into the city looking for the seer. They found a person who told them Samuel would be in the city today.

Elohim told Samuel the day before that Saul would visit him.

Elohim told him a man would visit him from the land of Benjamin and he shall anoint him governor for he shall deliver Israel from the Philistines for he had heard their cry. (1 Sam.  9:16)

Yahweh pointed out Saul to Samuel, the seer, and they met. Samuel told Saul we will go up to higher place and eat and tomorrow he will tell Saul what is in his heart. (1 Sam. 9:17-19)

Samuel also told Saul his asses that were lost three days were found. (1 Sam. 9:20)

The asses that were lost three days have great spiritual significance. Understanding that everything in the scriptures, the law and prophets, testify of Yahshua the Messiah.

So the three days the asses were lost pointed to Israel being lost during the three days it took Yahshua to resurrect, which ended the curse of death due to Adam’s transgression. This brought life eternal under the new covenant (Heb. 8th chap)

Now Samuel anointed Saul king and changed Saul consciousness enabling him to prophesy. This is summarized in the 1 Samuel 10th chapter.  See below.

1 Saul is anointed King by Samuel. 9 God changeth Saul’s heart, and he prophesieth. 17 Samuel assembleth the people, and showeth them their sins. 21 Saul is chosen King by lot. 25 Samuel writeth the King’s office.

Now Saul being anointed with the Holy Spirit by Samuel is pointing to the Holy Spirit being poured out on the day of Pentecost after the Messiah's death, burial and Resurrection. Samuel told Saul he will get a new heart and will prophesy. This was fulfilled by Jer. 31:31-34 and Joel the prophet, which Peter quoted on the day of Pentecost.  Acts 2:16-19 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:”

This was fulfilled by the Messiah when he rode into Jerusalem, the city of peace, on an ass.

Remember, the ass is a burden of beast and also represents the stubbornness of the mind. So the Messiah riding the ass shows he is in control of the mind riding it into the city of Peace, Jerusalem.

The Messiah spoke these words “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27

The world is full of asses, stubbornness and unbelief, especially among  world leaders, as they  move the world toward WW3.
