Life of Cities Is the People like the Life of the Flesh Is the Blood
Now the scriptures state the life of the flesh/body is in the blood (Lev. 17:11). Likewise, the life of cities is not the structures there, but the people that make up the city. If cities are in despair, it is first reflected in the people’s spiritual and psychological states.


Today the social and moral decay of great, American cities are declining primarily due to record high inflation, deindustrialization, joblessness, and drugs. It is beyond comprehension and hard to conceive that a great nation like the US is experiencing such a fall. The evidence lies with devastated American cities, such as DC, Philadelphia, and New York, etc. Below are videos that document the state of the American cities.

Why Rent In NYC Is Out Of Control Right Now


There is little hope in turning cities in this situation  around the due to the state of consciousness of the people living there. Now for a turn around to occur would require a change in the people’s hearts and minds, a repentance.  Like with Israel, a change from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant required a repentance of Israel and the death of the Messiah. 


The cities are a reflect of  the people’s spiritual and psychological state and condition. What if there’s no repentance? The cities are destroyed because of the people’s state and condition. In biblical history, cities like Sodom and Gomorrah fell into a spiritually debased state, which led to their destruction by Elohim. 


“And Yahweh (the LORD) said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.” (Gen. 18:20-21) KJV

Do the Rise and Fall of Cities Follow An Operation of Universal Spirit Law?
Historical research of great cities and empires show there is in existence a divine pattern in operation. This divine pattern shows by universe spirit law there is a continual rise and fall of great cities and empires. 


This rise and fall of great cities, nations and people in whatever field of endeavor or achievement, are as normal as the seasons changing. The rise and fall of great cities, nations, etc., follow a pattern, which is represented by the seasons of the year: fall  - death, winter - burial, spring - resurrection, and summer - fruition.


In the Torah (Law of Moses) given to Israel by Yahweh, it points out why He would destroy their cities due to disobedience.


Leviticus 26:31
“I will lay waste your cities as well and will make your sanctuaries desolate, and I will not smell your soothing aromas.”


In the prophets, Yahweh reiterated what He would do to Israel cities for their disobedient.


Ezekiel 35:4
“I will lay waste your cities And you will become a desolation. Then you will know that I am Yahweh (the Lord).


In the fulfillment with Yahshua, He repeats his comments about Sodom Gomorrah
Luke 10:11–12) “Yahshua (Jesus) says: And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgement, than for that city.”


Revelation prophesied of cities that will be destroyed at the end of the kingdom age of grace by faith. 


“18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. 19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.” (Rev. 16:18-19)

How Do Cities and Spirit Rise and Fall According to Spirit Law?
What is not understood in the rise and fall of great nations and individuals is they reflect the operation of spirit law.  


Meaning the Creator Yahshua the Messiah (referred to as Jesus Christ) coming into existence required a death. Some will say how is this so? Few understand what spirit is and how it operates, even though it is manifest in creation.


Yahweh the Father is Pure Spirit and composed of 9 divine attributes, intelligence, wisdom, knowledge, beauty, love justice, foundation, power and strength. He is without and shape and form, limits and bounds of all things. He is depicted as cloud in the scriptures.  


“And Yahweh (the Lord) said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the Lord.”  (Ex. 19:9)


Yahweh, in part, took on a shape and form of a man within the cloud, seen only in visions. This is the Word or Son, Elohim before He was manifested in the fleshy body as Yahshua the Messiah. So by this death, Yahweh is coming from an abstract state into a lesser state, the incorporeal, where the Father can be seen in visions and bodily form, as Elohim and Yahshua the Messiah.


When the Messiah was manifested in the flesh, He took Peter, James and John atop Mt. Tabor and transfigured before them. Meaning he took off the fleshy body and revealed the spiritual body which outshone the noon day sun. There appeared the spirits of Moses and John the Baptist, and a cloud over shadowed them. Yahweh, the Father, appeared and spoke, saying this is my Son hear ye him.


“And after six days Yahshua (Jesus) taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. 3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. 4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. 5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.” (Mat. 17:1-5)


In short, as the Creator descends from Pure Spirit and ascends by a principle of death, so must nations and individuals rise and fall to reflect the operation of Spirit Law. (See Unity of the Spirit.)

Current Events that Reflect the State of Cities
As mentioned earlier, the life of the flesh is in the blood as the Holy Spirit gives eternal life to the soul. So if the blood is contaminated, the organs of the body begin to fail. In the same manner if the people are morally and spiritually bankrupt, cities or nations decline.


There are current events that show blood is contaminated of people by transfusions, devastating the organs of the physical body.
