Introduction
Freedom is defined as ”the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint." Definitions from Oxford Languages. However, there is no “freedom of choice,” except that which the totalitarian state grants. During the Enlightenment period this philosophy evolved in Europe and later developed in America which formed a great nation.


Here is brief history of the basic philosophy that helped shape the Constitution that our founders used.  


“Although there is no consensus about the exact span of time that corresponds to the American Enlightenment, it is safe to say that it occurred during the eighteenth century among thinkers in British North America and the early United States and was inspired by the ideas of the British and French Enlightenments.  Based on the metaphor of bringing light to the Dark Age, the Age of the Enlightenment (Siècle des lumières in French and Aufklärung in German) shifted allegiances away from absolute authority, whether religious or political, to more skeptical and optimistic attitudes about human nature, religion and politics”.  


“In the American context, thinkers such as Thomas Paine, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Benjamin Franklin invented and adopted revolutionary ideas about scientific rationality, religious toleration and experimental political organization—ideas that would have far-reaching effects on the development of the fledgling nation.  Some coupled science and religion in the notion of deism; others asserted the natural rights of man in the anti-authoritarian doctrine of liberalism; and still others touted the importance of cultivating virtue, enlightened leadership and community in early forms of republican thinking. At least six ideas came to punctuate American Enlightenment thinking: deism, liberalism, republicanism, conservatism, toleration and scientific progress. Many of these were shared with European Enlightenment thinkers, but in some instances took a uniquely American form.“

When the Roman Empire fell, the Dark Ages followed, then came the Middles Ages, and the Renaissance, which gave way to the Age of Enlightenment. As stated above, it was during this period where the Constitutional foundation was formed.


From a divine metaphysical standpoint the principle of freedom was revealed after the crucifixion of the Yahshua the Messiah which ended the Old Covenant or the Law of Moses. This means all form of ritualistic, priest mediated worship, power centralized in kings or priests, sacrifices of animals for sin, feast days, washings, baptisms, etc., were abolished.


On the Day of Pentecost, 34 AD, in Jerusalem, a new era or age began where the Creator Yahshua The Messiah is worshipped in Spirit and truth, which is not at a geographic location or in the presence of a Priest or Rabbi, but a state of Mind (John 4:21-24). Paul wrote the following; “19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of Elohim (God), and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify Elohim (God) in your body, and in your spirit, which are Elohim’s (God’s), (1 Cor. 6:19-20).”


Paul further explained the mystery of Freedom. He wrote  “Now Yahweh is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Yahweh is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect Yahweh’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from Yahweh, who is Spirit (2 Cor 3:17-18)."


Paul is explaining freedom or liberty as the Holy Spirit. It is not a political idea, but a reflection of it.

Here is the first instances where the principle of freedom was suppressed in this present Age of Grace. It released Israel from the Law of Moses and made them free by grace under the New Covenant (Jer. 31:31-34).


Now the religious leaders of Israel, 70 elders, chief priests, and others weren’t believers in the Messiah and persecuted the believers in Yahshua the Messiah after His resurrection (Acts 7:54-59, 8-9 Chapters).


The first instance where the leaders sought to suppress this freedom, which is defined as spirit, is when Peter and John healed a cripple man at gate Beautiful in the Herodian temple. They converted 5,000 believers that day.  


Peter and John were bought before the leaders of Israel and were asked by what power was this man healed (Acts 4:5-7).


Both Peter and John told them it was the spirit of Yahshua the Messiah, the  man they crucified, who healed the lame man.


The leaders of Israel couldn’t deny the miracle and words of Peter and John by the Holy Spirit (Acts 4:13-17). So they told them they couldn’t, preach in the name of Yahshua the Messiah and the leaders of Israel threatened them both.  


Below is the account of this event.


Acts 4:21-31
“21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified Elohim (God) for that which was done. 22 For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed. 23 And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.”


Here is the fulfillment of what David wrote about the heathens gathering together against Yahshua. Why do the heathen rage? (Psa. 2:1)


Acts 4:24-29
“24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to Elohim (God) with one accord, and said, Yahweh (Lord), thou art Elohim (God), which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:25 Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? 26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against Yahweh (the Lord), and against his son Yahshua (Christ). 27 For of a truth against thy holy child Yahshua (Jesus), whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, 28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.”


Below Yahweh increased the boldness, signs, and wonders of the apostles as Moses and Aaron were given the boldness, signs, and wonders in Egypt. 


Acts 29-31
29 “And now, Yahweh (Lord), behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, 
30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Yahshua (Jesus). 31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of Elohim (God) with boldness.”


So the religions leaders of Israel tried to change the seasons by following the law of sin and death (fall and winter) and ignoring the resurrection by grace through faith (spring and summer) which had just occurred. As the Apostles spoke, those who believed were resurrected, which is the spring, and they went into fruition and received the Holy Spirit. The believers went from zero to adulthood or from babes to fruition.

As the seasons change by a divine pattern; fall, winter, spring, summer, according to universal spiritual Law, likewise freedom must also follow this same divine pattern and similarly experience seasonal changes.

Now the principle of freedom has undergone both a spring  (resurrection) and summer, (ascension). Meaning freedom has seen the best of times.  


Now the principle of freedom has entered into a changed state, a fall state or the beginning of its demise, or very challenging period.

​Changes have manifest themselves in current events, such as the CoVID-19 shutdown, censorship of freedom of speech, restricting freedom to assembly, the rise of socialism or Marxism, etc., which have fundamentally undermined the foundational principles of the Constitution. 


John saw this totalitarian system with the Mark of Beast that is suppressing the freedom of the US and the world at the end of the age, which will be later destroyed by fire (Rev. 17:16-18).


With record debt in the US and worldwide, inflation on everything, food shortages, $10.00 gasoline around the corner, etc., the trend of these events portend a world wide collapse, as stated in Revelation 18th chapter.
